Pull-Tab Dress
This can't really fit into any of the listed categories, so here it is. My prom dress for this year, along with accessories. Included in this Soda-Tab Dress Set are as follows: 1 dress (diagonal hem cut, strapless, zip-front, chained corset-back), 1 underdress (black velvet, stitched with bottlecaps, mid-calf length, longsleeve), 1 pair of shoes (high-top sneakers, made to look like Converse. Starbucks bottlecaps are placed where the Converse logo would normally go), 1 small purse (Just a little clutch, 1 small cell-phone or ipod pocket in the front, clasp closure, chain strap and chevron mesh trim), 1 messenger bag (The only piece still in the works, a shoulder-strap bag to carry books or whatnot. Large paperclip and safety pin strap, clasp closures), and 1 hat (bowler, chain chevron mesh trim). I'm aware the hat looks stupid with the brim flipped up, I didn't realize it was flipped when this photo was taken. Oh well. There is also a jewelry set that belongs to this set, wth several interchangeable pieces of different themes, including a choker, 5 different bracelets, and 4 pairs of earrings. There are Rainbow, Christmas, and Normal themes.
All parts are interchangeable depending on the occasion. (you wouldn't wear a messenger bag to the prom, but you might use a clutch).
All of these, (minus the messenger bag) are currently located at the Allentown Museum of art (Jan11,'10) and will continue to be, possibly as late as March. They are a part of the Scholastic Art Awards, and The museum has asked me permission to leave them there longer as part of a 'go green' display they are holding.

This is so freekin' cool!!! I went to a (Sorta) prom essentially barefoot :)
Your creativity rocks!
I kinda think it could have done without the hat, though.
(BTW, the whole outfit reminds me of chainmail)
