“You'll get back to where you came from.” - Simon

In my English class we are currently reading Lord of the Flies by William Golding and the connection with the war at the time, all of the foreshadowing, and development of the characters is astonishing. Digging deep through the novel is the only way to connect with the story, because trust and believe that all the twists and turns are no laughing matter.

After Piggy, I would have to say Simon is my next favorite character, unlike the others he is pretty quiet and willing to help the younger ones, and the fact that he is labeled as the antagonist only tears away my heart.
