Radio City
This acrylic piece of Radio City Music Hall is meant to embody the almost abstract stylization seen in coffee shops. The dark, warm tones of the red brick above the sign greatly differ from the yellow stone bellow it, creating almost a conflict between the two. The bright yellows, blues, and reds of the neon signs, as well as the Christmas tree installation, stick out when set next to the mundane coloring of the building. The light shading gives some dimension to the highly stylized piece.
