A Beautiful Sadness

A mixed media collage depicting my stylized likeness and a meaningful quote about the meaning behind sorrow. The bright shades draw focus while the braid and quote create a path of movement for the eye. Additionally, the contrast between the warm yellow background and the cool blue tones in the form. The layering of the blue tissue paper to create form and the illusion of depth. It should be noted that the quote is not an original and is from the brilliant minds of Matt Stone and Trey Parker.
