Tomorrow
As usual, sorry for the camera glare. This piece, Tomorrow, is actually one of three. I completed three ink drawing of roughly the same size, (9"x12") for an assignment in class. The only real requirements were that there could only be one light source, a window. Malorie is the name of this girl. She used to be in my art class. Or at least she was last year, when I drew this sketch of her. Her hair had a pinkish tone in the back, so I sortof embraced it, rather than forcing it into the monochrome black and white like the rest of the drawings. I added that red coloring lightly over a couple of the books too. (The books have random titles I chose from memory, there were no books in the original photograph. most of the titles, Riven, Exile, MOTAS... are actually computerized puzzle games that I love)
