Perseverence is My Way
Perseverance is doing what you can when there's nothing you can do. At least it’s better than doing nothing. You gotta ask yourself when you really want something, do you go after it and chase it or wait for someone else to take the opportunity? One of my favorite quotes is from my favorite movie Rocky he says “It’s not about how hard you hit it’s about how hard you get hit and keep moving forward”. Therefore I am. A person who perseveres through life’s greatest and smallest obstacles.
I've always thought my friends represented me but in reality, it was my family they were the ones there for me in every moment of success and defeat when I got knocked down they lifted me back up but one thing my family always do is never give up on me no matter how many time I mess up or disappoint they never give up on me and to that my family is my rock and my stone
Hi My name is Chantz and I am a sophomore in high school. A little brother of a family of five and an underdog who keeps trying. I grew up in a household with a dysfunctional it seems like every time I turn around my family is arguing and then when look away again they are hugging each other saying how sorry they are It’s funny because this is also the same family telling me that I should never give up to always treat others with respect and compassion and to never cut corners but when it comes to me they all motivate me and push me to be the best that I can be.
For example, one of my favorite movies, Rocky, is all about trying your hardest and never giving up and when the odds are against you, breathe and go head-on. This movie is very inspirational in a way. I love how Rocky carries himself and perseveres through all of his challenges. That's what I've been trying to do and still doing and going to keep doing till I reach the stars and many more.
In the future, I would like to see myself doing things that 15 year old me now would be proud of . I want my family to continue to cheer me on so they can see me in a new light. I want to be the champion I know I can become. Becoming a sophomore made me realize that I am well on my way to becoming that champion at the top of that mountain I have so many dreams of me finally getting on the top of that mountain just to say more and I know on my way up that mountain I will have a lot of challenges but all have do is keep my cool and persevere
In conclusion, I am a person who perseveres through the greatest and smallest obstacles. I don't hide when things get tough. I try to face it the best way I can and when it gets tough I take a step back and try again. When I am down for the count my family will always be there for me through the highs and the lows I can always count on them but when it comes down to it the only person who will truly make sure I am on my grind and I do what I have to do and I persevere through my trials and tribulations is me.
