One day a guy named Jose decided that he was gonna try to make money by raking lawns. So he grabbed his rake and decided it was gonna be $3 for each lawn he rakes. So he started out by going to one of his neighbor’s houses . He asked his neighbor if she wanted him to rake her lawn for $3. She said sure, and then an hour later he finished her lawn, and she gave him $3. This happened with a few more houses, and then it was getting dark, so he decided to start heading home. The next day he continued his journey and decided he needed $1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. So he brought the price up to $6. So he asked the next house after the last house he did the day before, and he said sure . So Jose raked his yard for almost three hours and got $5. This happened to a couple more houses until it was getting dark and he thought it was time for him to go home.

The next day he went to the next house that was after the house he did the day before and decided to bring up the price to $12. He then asked the girl if she would like him to rake her yard for $10. She said yes, and then he went to it. It took him five hours to  rake her yard, and then he did one more house, and then it was starting to get dark so he decided to head home. The next day he went to the next house and decided to raise the price to $24. He asked him if he can rake his yard for $24, and the guy said, “Sure why not?” and it took all day for him to rake the yard, and it was starting to get dark, and he then went home. The next day he went to the next house and decided to bring up the price to $48. He asked her if he can rake her yard for her for $48 and she said, “Go ahead.” He finished half of it in a day, and it was getting dark, so he went home and then finished it the next day, but had to go home again because it was dark on the second day raking her house when he finished her house.

He has gotten happier and Happier every day because he gets closer to the amount of money he wanted. All his energy was back  the next day. This went on for weeks, and then months, and then years, and he was raising the costs everyday. By the time it was the fourth year, he had a whole business to rake leaves and now shovel snow for 1,000,000. He and his company asked a very wealthy old lady if she would like for them to shovel her yard for 1,000,000. She said, “ Now why do you think I would pay that much just for my yard to not have snow? You should know better than to ask people for that much money. I hope you learn to stop, otherwise I will put you in jail, for SCAM! I will get rid of your business as soon as I can because no one should be paying that much just for their yard to be snow-free for a little bit!” Jose felt really upset. He was almost gonna go to jail and his business was gonna be gone . He said yes mam and then walked home . He then was really sad to the point he didn’t want to rake anything ever again.
