Two Flimsy Twigs
They are the only ones who define me. I am the only one who defines them. Two flimsy twigs with strong build and loose attitude like mine. Two who do not stay near but stay true. Two vital pieces from a large family. From the ice I feel them, but few understand the bond we share.
Their power is known. They allow anything to those in contact with them. They build you up and build you down and share a feeling and power and understanding. This is how they react.
Let one forget his reason for being, they’d all stay faithful, each waiting for the magical touch. Yes, yes, yes twigs say when I come. They listen.
When I am too tired and too old to keep scoring, when I am upset with the ways of the world, then it is twigs I play with. When there is nothing left to do in this world. Two who have stayed true. Two who understand me and do not forget my touch. Two whose only reason is to play and play.
