Scene 1

Narrator
Once upon a time there was a, or should I saw three, beautiful girls. They were all named Cinderella. The first was called Raggie because all she had to wear were tattered rags and she acted as a slave to the others. The second was called Cindy because she always wore way too much makeup. The third was called Cinderella because it is her real name after all,she is very formal and proper, always ready for a ball.
Cindy
(excitedly)
Oh my! I’m invited to the Prince’s Royal Ball.
Cinderella
What about me?
CIndy
(disappointed)
Oh, yeah. You too.
SCENE 2
Cindy
(impatient)
Raggie!
(Long Pause)
Raggie
Yes sister dear?
Cindy
(demanding)
Fetch me my finest dress. Make sure you mend it to perfection I must marry the Prince. Oh and when you’re done do my hair.

Cinderella
Me,too. Only mother said I could use her finest. In fact it’s obvious I’m her favorite.
Cindy
(upset)
Are not!
Cinderella
Am too!
(Raggie slips away during the ruckus to complete her chores)
Scene 3
Raggie
Do you refer it like this or this?
Cindy
The first, definitely the first. Duh, Ragweed! Right Cinderella? (Pause) Right?
Cinderella
(distracted)
What? Oh, yes, yes of course.
Raggie
All set.
Cindy
(disappointed)
Well it’s not my usual amount but I guess it’ll do. If I must say so myself I look fine no matter what.
Raggie
Of course. Cinderella it’s time for your hair and make up.
Cinderella
Oh, hooray! I would like it like this.

Raggie
Hmmm. Hmmmmmm, mmmmmmmmmmmm.
Cinderella
Stop humming!
Raggie

Cinderella
Are you not going to apologize?
Raggie

Cinderella
Whatever. Are you done yet?
Raggie
Almost… and perfect!
Cindy
Took you long enough. The carriage just arrived.
Raggie

SCENE 4
Raggie
Oh how I wish to go to the ball!
Mouse 1
Then go, go Raggie.
Raggie
Who’s there? Oh, you scared me!
Mouse 2
Go, go Raggie. You have to go.
Raggie
I couldn’t, I have nothing to wear.
Mouse 1
We do though.
Raggie
Thank you, but I really don’t think your clothes will fit me
Mouse 1
Don’t be silly.
Mouse 2
Follow us. Well it might be quicker if you carried us up to your room.
SCENE 5
EVERYONE
*GASP*
PRINCE CHARMING
Excuse me my lady, may I have this dance?
Raggie
Of course.


NARRATOR
They danced and they danced all night long. At the stroke of midnight Raggie said her good-byes and set off to leave. But the Prince stopped her before she left and asked for her name. She said “Cinderella”. Then she ran home but lost one of her glass slippers in the bushes and sent the mice off with her dress and the spare slipper.
SCENE 6
Cinderella
(disgusted)
I know what you did last night. The Prince is sending all his men out to find you. Ugh! No, no way am I going to let you marry him. You are going to pretend I was the one who danced with Prince Charming all night long.
Raggie
Of course. Oh, dearest sister, please don’t tell anyone. Please?
Cinderella
Why would I- well maybe if your lucky I won’t.
(Knocks on the door)
Raggie
I will get it.
Cindy
No, I will.
Prince charming
May I come in? I am here to find a lady called Cinderella.
All Cinderella’s
Thats me!

Prince Charming
What?
Cinderella
They mean me. I am Cinderella. See thats Cindy and the maid.
Prince charming
May I try this slipper on you then?
Cinderella
There’s really no need.
Cindy
No, no go ahead.
Cinderella
Very well then it’s not like they fit me anyway.
Prince charming
I am sorry my lady but you are not the Cinderella I am looking for.
Cindy
What about me?
Prince charming
All right then… No it is far to small. What about you miss?
Cinderella
No not her she is just the maid.
Prince charming

RaggIe
Well all right.
Cindy & Cinderella
UGH!!
Prince charming
My it fits just perfect!
Cindy
What?
Cinderella
No! I am to be the queen! I am the real Cinderella.

Good-bye my sisters I will see you soon.
Narrator
Raggie grew to be called Queen Ella, and quite good looking, too. She forgave her sisters and they became ugly but lived happily ever after.
