Nothing
Nothing is what I do all day and night. I did nothing since coming home from the hospital. Nothing when he left, nothing all the time. How is it possible for a loss like this be able to make a person able to do nothing all the time?
I get up to go to the kitchen and pass that room. I stand there looking in thinking it’s occupant will never see it. His name would have be Luke after my brother who died of a car crash but now I have neither of them.
“Get up and do something. Stop being so lazy all the time.” That’s what he told me one morning. Why isn’t he as affected as I am? The last words he said to me were “You need to fend for yourself now because I’m gone. I always loved you. Good luck.” Then he was gone, he just left.
Lazy is what some would call it and i guess that would be correct because being lazy consist of doing nothing.
So now I will sit here and do nothing as I wither away. Sit here and do nothing all day and night.
