My winter heart
The love for winter
Chapter 1: My winter heartI slowly wake up. My eyelids are still heavy. My semi blurry eye sight is going in and out. I try to pull myself back into reality. Facing my white cream colored ceiling, I turn my head and out my window I see nothing but a heavenly white glow. Instantly I'm awake with anticipation. I get up and walk to my window. I look at the trees in my backyard, they have a thick layer of snow on every branch. There is no sign of grass. The snow is sparkling in the sunlight like how water glistens on a lake. I feel the refection of the sun on the snow, on my face. The closer I got to the window the more I felt the cold crisp air from outside. I look up and see black birds flying from tree to tree. I feel my checks starting to get tight, I start smiling like I have no control over my expression. I feel my heart fill up with joy and a peace came. This is a beautiful winter morning.
