Divorce
The parents both gasped; the mother in relief, the father in flabbergast. The child only looked up at his mother; he didn’t really know what was going on. All he heard was the sound of the judge’s gable as the court room cleared. She put her right hand on his shoulder, using her left hand to remove her ring. The three stood there until the court room was empty. Finally, with out saying a word, they left in separate cars, going separate directions; separate lives now.
