Just one more day...
The tires of the bus screeched to a halt, throwing me hands-first against the seat. Everyone got up, everyone but me. How happy they were, their little backpacks and their chatty friends...I hated them all. But more than that, I hated myself.
I don't know why but I pulled out a strand of my hair from the root. The pain kinda felt good but didn't last long. Like an evil bug an idea crept into my mind; Why not just stay quiet in my seat, tell the driver I'm not feeling well. It's not like anybody'd notice me gone or anything. I could be free, away from this pathetic life if only for a day. Enjoy new sights and sounds, write that poem I always wanted, do so much-
"Ellie!" A girl called, waving foolishly through the window at me.
Just make it through this day...
