The Silent Guitar
The guitar was sitting alone.
Until a hand wrapped around it.
The electric guitar lifted.
And was put under the right arm.
The left hand was set on the strings,
The right hand strummed.
Two noises sounded,
One the audience, one the guitar.
The left hand moved up and down.
Perfectly executing hammer-ons and pull-offs.
At the same time, the lead singer vibrated a note.
One second he’s singing softly, and then he’s shouting.
The drummer finishes off the song with a crash of the cymbols.
Cheering erupts as loud as a volcanic eruption.
Then the crowd gets up and leaves,
And the guitar sits alone once again.

"'For I know the plans I have for you', declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" Jeremiah 29:11. Thank you Lord, for this future you've given me.
I think this probably belongs more in poetry...lol. But I like this, the details, the feeling. It's beautiful, harmonious. :)
