Tricking the impossible
There once was a very conniving, clever, girl named Britney. She was a beautiful, short, little, blonde girl. She had bright, sparkling, cornflower blue eyes, that could make her sweet looking one second and as fierce as a tiger the next. As sweet as she was, she still tricked people all the time. Her tricks went from telling someone their shoe was untied, to getting someone’s car keys (she gave them back though).
Britney was the trickster of her small town (Forks) and everyone knew it, but they didn’t mind, most of the time. It wasn’t like she was tantalizing them, not really. She was always just messing around, trying to see how far she can get.
There was only one person she hadn’t tricked, and that was Justin. Justin, the most important person in the world to her, her best friend. They had known each other since birth, which is why he knew all her little tricks before she even used them.
“Oh my gosh, watch out!” Britney yelled. Justin just ignored her; he had walked the same way about a million times. He knew there was nothing to watch out for.
“Nice try,” he said.
“Ugh, I’ll get you one day. That’s a promise.”
Justin just laughed and walked away.
Finally Britney found the best trick ever-- the unthinkable. She was going to pretend to be mad at Justin. This was the best plan, she thought. It was set, starting tomorrow she wasn’t going to talk to Justin, or even acknowledge him.
“Hey,” justin said, but she ignored him.
“Oh, so you’re still mad about not being able to trick me, aren’t you?” She still ignored him.
As the days past Justin stopped trying. He gave up on her. Once Britney realized that he thought it was for real she went to his house and told him it was all a trick.
“I tricked you, hahahahaha,” she said with glee.
“This was all a joke?” He asked with almost no expression.
“Yeah...”
“Oh, ok.” He half chuckled, then he shut the door in Britney’s face.
Days passed and Britney hadn’t seen Justin since that day. She missed him so much. When she went to his house there was always some excuse for why he couldn’t come talk to her. She didn’t know what to do anymore. After a few weeks Britney couldn’t deal with it anymore. She left. She ran off, and was never seen again.
