the simplest thing
we see each other every day...and we know how we feel about each other. we're always together.i know what i should be doing, and its so simple it hurts. we've texted each other it a thousand times and once again. but never once has it come from our lips. it's the simplest thing in the world to say, yet somehow we make it more complicated than it needs to be. i can see it in your eyes, and the words are about to fall out, but you catch them at the last second. why? are you scared? im scared, too. im ashamed im like this. ashamed i can't say "i love you" to your face. but only because im scared of you, of your possible responding words.
