One Last Time
Dripping in water, I walked off leaving him behind,
still having the water bottle crushed in my right hand.
The birds whistling at the morning sun
emerged my frustration even more.
He called out my name running after me in the park,
I twisted to face him.
As he came closer and closer to my face
I could see those glistening blue eyes I once loved,
covered with his newly trimmed blonde hair,
still wet from the water I threw at him.
“I’m sorry”
My heart pounded harder as it dropped to the ground,
tears started coming down my eyes tickling my cheeks.
I turned around and walked off,
hoping to hear him shout my name one last time.
But I could only hear the birds singing their song.

This piece inspired me of the K-Drama break up scenes that I have watched in the past.
