A Girl and A Boy
As I am walking by I stare at him with a big thought.
“Does he like me? Does he think I’m cute? Hmm,” said the girl.
The next day at lunch I am sitting with a big crowd of people. I see him sitting over there with his two friends, John and Dave.
“Should I invite him and his two friends to sit with me and my friends? Does he even know I am alive? Do I smell funny?”
As I am sitting there he is just laughing away. The bell has rung. I am getting up, going to my locker, and then I am heading to class. As I walk by him to go to my seat I just blush and get all red and smile. I am sitting in the back. He is sitting two seats in front of me. I walk towards him but he doesn’t see me. He runs off with his friends. I stop and watch him with a tear rolling down my face. My friend Becca comes to me and say’s,
“What’s wrong?” whispered Becca.
“I was walking towards him, and then he runs off. Do you think he would have seen me walking towards him?” I cried.
The next day comes around. It is a Saturday. I get up, take a shower, brush my teeth, brush my hair, blow dry my hair, and then straighten it. As 12 pm comes around I am getting ready to go to my next door neighbors to hang out. I get my iPod ready to go because me and her like to play around outside and listen to it. The boy, who doesn’t think I am alive lives four houses down from me. There he is, finishing a five miles run. I am getting a little red! I have never felt this way about a boy before, especially him. I feel embarrassed for dancing around outside.
“Oh My Gosh, he just stared at you, smiling!” shouted Jenny.
I turn a little red. Oh wait, I am blushing really bad. I go back to my house and take a shower. I felt a little dirty from dancing around. I get dressed again and go next door. The boy I like is really good friends with Jenny’s brother, so when he was done running he went over to Jenny’s house. As I am there he comes running through the house acting crazy. It doesn’t matter though he is still cute.

As I am at lunch sitting with my two friends she is over there in a big crowd of people. All of a sudden the bell rings. She is running off with all of her friends, I walk by her staring as she is getting her stuff out of her locker. She has silky long brown hair with blonde high-lights. Her eyes are a lime-green color. School is over and it’s time to go home. I tried to stop her in the halls but if I did she would probably be like,
“What do you want freak?”
I do not want that to happen in front of my friends and her friends I will say hey to her when I go running and she is alone. Saturday roles around and I am running and there she is at the next door neighbors acting crazy listening to music, I think it’s really sweet how she doesn’t care what people think about her, because I used to act the same way when I was a little kid. I go over to her and say
“Hey, what are you listening to?” I asked.
“Hi, we are listening to Whatcha Say by Jason Derulo,” She replied.
“I like that song. I also think it’s cute when you are over here dancing around in public and you don’t care what other people think, you have a really good personality, maybe the three of us could hang out sometime.” I responded.
She starts to blush and giggle a little bit and say’s,
“Yea, we would like that,”
All of a sudden I start to move in on her and then the girl’s mom call’s her in for lunch.
I will just go and talk to her at lunch tomorrow! He thought.
I know she likes me. It’s a Monday now and I am sitting at my lunch table and she is sitting at a different table, with Becca and Jenny.
I go over to her and I asked,
“Can I talk to you alone?”
She tells her two friends to go away for a minute. I slowly move in on her, she is really cute, especially since Saturday. All of a sudden her two friends come to her and tell her there’s a fight going on outside.
“I don’t care about a stupid fight I am going to stay right here because he has something to tell me and I really want to hear it,” She warned.
I slowly start to move in on her again and I say.
“Will you go out with me?” I mumbled.
“I can’t hear a single word you are saying,” She said.
“WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME?” I shouted.
Everyone in the cafeteria froze and stopped what they were doing. Even the people who were fighting stopped.
The teachers even stopped what they were doing. The whole cafeteria was as quiet as a mouse.
“WOW!” She sighed.
Everyone was staring at the girl waiting for a yes or no answer. They were all curious to see what she would say to him.
“Let me think about it for a minute,” She responded
She walked over to Jenny and Becca with a smile on her face.
“What should I say?” She whispered.
“Say yes, and that you’ve liked him for a long time and you’ll be able to hang out with him every day after school,” replied Jenny.
“Say yes,” responded Becca.
The girl walked back over to the boy with a smile on her face. She was really shy. She looked up at him.
“Yes!” She announced.
The whole cafeteria was screaming with joy.
