Love, Instantaneously
I saw you first. I saw you turn your head away in the dimming light and saw your hair that is sunlight fall over your eyes that are glass. I watched the light slip around your neck, glinting off your hair. I saw your eyes and you saw mine, and your eyes were your whole face and I saw your soul. But I also saw mine. They flew across the room in a frenzied dance melding together; becoming beautiful and calling wild, haunting notes as the passion overwhelmed them. And I would always love that room because that is where love flew, screaming its entirety in one long, intense, note that deafened me and reverberated off the walls as my soul and now your soul sunk slowly back into my body, into your body. We turned away.
