Letters to Luke: Letter Two
Dear Luke,
We met exactly one year and three months ago. I chose to be fearless that night. I chose to walk up to you and talk to you. And god, I'm glad I did.
To my surprise you're still my best friend. We call daily. We tell each other everything.
Sadly you're still 800 miles away, and being only 14, I won't be meeting you halfway anytime soon.
Maybe someday we will actually get to see each other daily instead of just talking.
These maybes are what keep me alive most days.
Love,
Ava
