I Told You So, But You Didn't Listen
Dear Diary,
I’m writing in you today, so I will know how I felt when I was first broken up with. I will remember the unbearable pain of my first broken heart and when the next time comes, It won’t be as a bad.
My friends say that you can never get use to of getting your heart broken over and over again until you meet the person to get married with.
But I’m about to prove them wrong. I’m about to tell them I told them so!
Right now I’m going to break up with Danny Liv. My present boyfriend!
Callie stood up from her diary and closed it to get the door.
She new who it was, it was her boyfriend Danny. She had called him about an hour ago requesting to talk to him.
He said OK, and would be there in an hour. And now here he was. Dressed in a plaid shirt and jeans looking nonchalant about everything. Not even thinking about how their relationship might just be over. Will be over. And it was starting now.
“Danny, we need to talk. Come have a seat” Callie motioned to the couch.
“Am I in trouble our something? Is it because I was glance at Jennifer Landsen? Because shes my cousin!” Danny told her for the millionth time, about his cover story about how Jennifer Landsen was “just” his friend.
“It’s not that Danny!” Callie told him irritated. “I’m breaking up with you” she told him nonchalantly.
“What?” Danny’s voice went up an octave.
“I’m sorry. I just don’t think we were meant to be” Callie said quietly.
“Callie! We were voted the cutest couple of the year at school! Now give me a good explanation for this!” Danny demanded, his voice barely a squeak.
“I just don’t feel comfortable in this relationship. Now you have to go” Callie said stiffly, standing up and dragging Danny out of the house and out the front door.
“Baby! Please! Were perfect for each other! Don’t do this!” Danny said on the verge of tears.
“Go away Danny, your such a baby!” Callie sneered and slammed the door in his face.
She peeked out the window and saw him putting a hand on his face and moaning to his car loudly.
Callie shook her head, and began to turn around.
Callie froze, and tumbled to the ground.
why did she feel so empty? she wondered. Moaning for it to go away.
It kept on growing. The emptiness's and waves of sadness leaped at her and indulged her into a world of nothingness.
She finally catched on! She was feeling Danny’s emotions.
Huge waves of angry crashed down on her and threatened to overwhelm her.
It’s to much! Get me out of here!Callie yelped.
She remembered now. This was how she felt when she was broken up with. Callie felt terrible.
What have I done! Callie cried.
Danny froze in the middle of the drive way and turned around to stare Callie in the eye.
He knew Callie was in his head.
He knew! I should have listened to my friends! You can never get over a broken heart. . . Callie whispered.
Danny open his mouth. Callie couldn’t tell what he was saying. She couldn’t hear him.
But she read his lips.
“I told you so”
