He glances at her and for that moment he sees all that he needs to see.

Her delicate skin pulled across porcelain bones. Haunting green eyes glimmering with freshly spilled tears. A mouth almost spoiled with sadness.

She sees nothing.

She can never see him glance at her with tenderness and affection. She will never see her own reflection in his black orbs or the fanatical devotion gleam bright in them. She will never see him hover near when she's working on something, just hoping he could assist her- just so he could earn her smile or touch her hand. She will never see him leave flowers on her table, just because he wanted to let her know he was beautiful.
