My Sweet Reverie
I was talking so quickly and when I looked into his eyes, I realized he was still looking into mine. His dark brown eyes still held their sparkle and danced as I continued to talk. His smile was contagious and I found myself smiling too, for no reason at all. His large hands reached to mine and I felt safe immediately as they covered my own. I stopped talking and he still looked at me. He looked at me the way no one else ever would. It was as if I was the most precious thing in the world. He wasn’t smiling and his eyes softened and I never felt so happy. When I awoke I realized it was just a dream and so was he.
