Not Now

I rained my terror down upon the people of Spreckle. I mean this quite literally, for I am Xias, ruler of the skies. I laughed the evil laugh which I had been practicing for weeks, as they ran and screamed in terror.
"Excuse me," interrupted my accomplice, Kevin.
"Not now. I'm busy," I replied smoothly as I continued my evil duties. I was used to dealing with the nuisance that was Kevin. He was short and fat and pretty much useless. He was only 12, yet he was already going bald, but what could I expect? He was my sister's son after all. I had promised her that I would care for the little brat, but that was when I was only a simple weather man with no evil intent. I frequently considered going against my promise, but to do that would be to lose sight of who I really am. A man simply intent on spreading the importance of the weather.
"But sir..." Kevin said in his unusually mouse-like voice.
"Not now!" I said angrily and struck his feet with lightning. He then scuttled out of the door as fast as his stubby little legs could carry him. Not long after that, he returned yet again. This time I could tell he was determined, but I didn't care.
"Not now!" I screamed before he had the chance to utter a single word.
"But sir," he replied insistently, although his body was shaking with terror.
"Did you not hear me flubberbrain?"
"But sir, there's something you must know."
"What? What could be so important that you must interrupt my work?" I replied shouting angrily at him.
"Y.. your car.." he stuttered, clearly terrified.
"WHAT?" I screamed interrupting him. He simply pointed out of our penthouse window. My car was being floated away by a man in pink sparkles. I couldn't stand for this. It was ridiculous. Pink sparkles? I'd be the laughing stock of the villain world.  With this thought on my mind, I leaped out of the window, but just before I hit the ground, the man in sparkles froze me in place. He was Asian looking in appearance and had eyes like those of a cat. That was all I managed to see of him before he said "Goodbye love," and disappeared with my car. I fell to the ground and Kevin rushed to my side.
"Are you alright?" he asked, but with no trace of concern in his voice.
"Why are you just standing there? Go find my car!" I yelled at him, ignoring his question.
A smug look crossed his face. "Not now," was all he said before he walked away, leaving me laying in the street. There was no denying it. As soon as the word got out, I'd be an embarrassment to villains all over the world.
