The Dream
It was a dark night in the forest as I walk down a bluff. I hear a screeching sound in the distance. A lightning bolt of fear shoots through me. He slowly turns around to find a slimy, cold ,wet dog. Its hair frizzy and as thick as can be. As it approaches, I retreat and I run into a tree. I twirl around like a whip to find a old hageled oak.
I stumble up the tree only to get a few branches high. I then put my attention back on the dog but its gone out of sight. I start to tremble. I then doze off. “Wake up wake up wake up,” says my sister as I am shook awake. “We are going to be late for school!” says my sister as I spring up out of bed. I get dressed and go down stairs.
“How did you sleep last night?” my mom asks.
“Good,” I say, but I know last night was horrifying.
