Contained and angry
You know that moment you finally feel at peace, then you find out it was just a lie? Maybe peace isn’t for you, or maybe it is you’re just not allowed to have it yet. Oh, you’re feeling happy again? Cool bow down and hand me your life. I rule you and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it. I am the God of the land, you, however, just walk on it. You feel like you live in a glass bubble, watched, contained, scared, but most importantly, angry. Why am I keeping you here? Simple, because you darling have nowhere else to go. You have no one else to take care of you. Oh, darling, you mustn't fret, I love you. I do, but I’m just trying to shape you into the person I think you should be. You’re almost there. I can see it. Please stop misbehaving. That won’t get you anywhere. Just listen to me and it’ll all be fine. I’ll help into a new world if you just see my side of things. But for now, my sweet, sweet child, you must stay contained and angry.
