The One Who Fought
Sometimes its hard to breathe.
The tears stream,
Your mind screams.
Your hands turn icy,
Your cheeks get hot.
It’s been like this for awhile-
You feel like this a lot.
You’re used to the hurting,
Always unrewarding,
But it’s the most familiar emotion
That you’ve got.
Keep going, never enclosing,
And you’ll be remembered
As the one who fought.
