Bullied Beliefs: A Palindrome Poem
You are nothing
That could cause emotion
Some things are real and meaningful
They cause no reaction, no heartbeat
Your words are fake
They are my everything
Love and passion and happiness
Don’t exist
Hatred and apathy and sadness
Rule my world
You could never
Make me leave
Your torture and cruelty
Is my life, my light
A hope for love and change
Is long gone
The memory of you
Still fresh and new
My escape from you
Is completely unfathomable
And the thought that all hope is gone…
