The room was full and there was mumbling coming from all directions. As I continued to walk inside the room I was amazed with the room. The drama room was a mysterious and interesting room. Orange and blue was shining everywhere with the Westwood warrior looking upon us.

Finally the meeting began and I was questioned for any possible ideas and it was an ON button for my voice to disappear and hide. My face appeared red as a tomato as the eyes of the devouring people moved to meet mine while expecting a lifesaving response. I was hard as stone and no words came; it seemed that my tongue lost its strength. I never knew that a club could be so life changing.

As every beginner I didn’t know how to get involved but the months flew and I began contributing my part to the begging cause. With time I began to socialize more with the members of the club. We made a new craft each month and each month it was an explosion of memories.
The production of ornaments, ribbons, and chocolate roses brought me interaction with new people. Yes working can be hard but as soon as you do it with a purpose it goes by fast and easy. Every time I decorated an ornament and looked into it I felt a sensation that the ornament was giving me back a feeling of hope and peace.

The ribbons reminded me of the children that were going to get aid and obtain an education. It was a constant reminder of why we did what we did. I was a reminder to be appreciated of what we had since others were unlucky to not receive a precious thing such as an education. I was thankful.

The chocolate roses were deliciously selling out. It was unique to see a couple or friend or even teachers receive a rose and a valentine gram. Shocking how little things can get far. As I saw every craft been sold I saw the dreams of kids coming true.

The club disintegrated. So I began to inquire.

“Why has our club decreased?”

“Diana this has become a normal thing to happen. At the beginning we will start with about hundred people but at the end we will have about twenty or less members.”

“Wow really?”

“Yes that is the sad truth.”

“So what made you continue and not get demotivated?”

“Well at first this fact did upset me and it made me want to finalize my participation in the club.”

“So what made you continue with this project?”

“Persons like you made me continue. If I were to quit then I too would have become a quitter and I wasn’t willing to disappoint any one. We take what we learn from others to not make the same mistakes. I knew that those remaining were always going to help and I was going to guide them in this travel.”

I felt sad that those who left or gave up did so because they were not able to see with their heart.

For something to come true it will take time. Maybe at that moment one won’t see it the end of the tunnel but there is open and we must look for it. I learned to let time show me the petite and colossal movements that should be cherish.

“Don’t feel disappointed and let time show gratitude.”
