I Am a Revolutionary
Reading 'I Am a Revolutionary' made me, a girl who is both attracted to girls and boys, feel proud of who I am. Something I can totally relate to with the author is how your mom found out and reacted. My mom had looked through my phone and found out I was gay. She had questioned me, criticized me, threatened me, even hurt me both physically and mentally. I was heartbroken to know that the person who was supposed to love me unconditionally did the complete opposite of that. I love your bravery to go on and fight to make a change. "I will not stay silent. I will not stand idly by." That statement right there makes me feel pride towards our community, to stand for those who are afraid to take a stand. I wish you the best in this life and that all turns great for you.
