August 12, 2016
I found Emma Louwagie's article "August 12, 2016" about the death of her brother's best friend Dylan and the effect it had on not only his family but hers extremely moving. Although I canot relate, I can only imagine what he was feeling. Hearing the words "Dylan Died" was not only hard for you but I bet your brother was really going through it (Louwagie). Just the thought of losing my own best friend saddens me and makes me feel more sympathy for you, your family, and Dylan's family. It was very understood that "i'm the type of person who doesn't appreciate what I have until it's gone" because i'm one of those people too (Louwagie). Just like you, after finding out about Dylan's death and it's effect on your brother, I appreciate my best friend more now. Thank you for sharing your story with the readers of teenink.
