The Hero Within
Ater reading Dylan Kaufman's article The Hero Within I was left in awe at the story's nature and theme, centered around the idea that heroes don't always wear capes and can be found anywhere. In the article Kaufman tells his story of how each of his action figures represents a key trait that every true super hero should have. There is Integrity who, through his actions, shows kindness and selflessness to everyone. There's also Couragix who fears nothing and takes risks; never letting negative comments get the best of him. And last of all, there was Captain Hope who always looked at the positive aspects in every situation faced with and always moves forward no matter what. Though the article is about super action figures Dylan writes it in a way that made me understand what a true hero is made of and because of that it left me thinking of all the heroes I have come across and how I could do my best to also become a hero.
