I agree with Willow Kwak review on “Simon Vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda”. The story of Simon being a in the closet 16 years who lives a life where his not himself is a struggle and living in a progressive town make it harder to come out or be yourself in life. Albertalli describes it in a way were people can see it through Simon point of view of how society views on gay people. “I have faced many of his challenges such as dealing with people making mean jokes about gay people” is saying how people who are in the closet make it harder for them to come out not knowing who can accept them.
