Learn Another Language MAG
Britain, I agree with your well-written article “Learn Another Language,” in the March issue. I have always looked forward to learning a new language but had to wait until my freshman year of high school. Although many may think otherwise, having to wait so long to learn a second language can be frustrating. It is difficult these days to get a good career or even communicate in many environments without being bilingual. The longer you have to wait to begin a second language, the harder it will be to grasp.
I too hope that many children will have the advantage of learning a second language as early as possible. Thank you, Britain, for trying to bring this issue to everyone’s attention.
