The story “Through the Eyes of a Pregnant 17-Year-Old”, definitely made me think about the writer’s life story while I was reading. In today’s society you can’t walked down the hallow halls of high school without seeing some girl pregnant. You think wow she was stupid or any other snide comments that come to your mind at the time. What I like about this story is that its not only well written, it also gives her thoughts and feelings about herself and her pregnancy and how she overcame the comments, the averted eyes and the sudden disappearance of the boy who pledged his love and then walked away without a second glance.
