Losing Jessica
I found the article,"Losing Jessica",to be extremely moving. I am perplexed with despair when I think of all of the pain she must have suffered. I am most adoring of her ability to overcome her drug addiction; it is unfortunate in the way that she came to that realization. In a way Amy's situation reminded me of my mother, who lost her best friend at fourteen years old;she was accidentally shot at a party my mother was supposed to attend with her. I wish the best for Amy and I hope she continues on her path to a good, sober life. Though her heart will never completely heal, I pray that her pain will someday subside, so she may never turn to drugs again.
