"She's Only Five"
I found "She's Only Five" by Alicia Gonzales very moving. Alicia talked about a homeless girl named Natalia that she met at a event called "Read to Me." It especially moved me when Alicia said, "I tried to reassure her that she was normal." It was sad to me that the little girl didn't feel normal because she is homeless. Thank you Alicia for showing your compassion and for making a young girl feel more special. This story shows that by showing kindness you are capable of making someone's day.
