225,000,000 Years MAG
I wholeheartedly agree with Rachel B.'s new perspective on life in her article “225,000,000 Years.” Her words, I believe, are carefully crafted to make the reader truly contemplate the significance of life. At first her words seem rather blunt, like when she says “your existence doesn't matter,” but they later become soothing by suggesting that we should “slow down. Take a break” and “stop worrying about material things.”
During the course of our lives, we are preoccupied with material things. Rachel, however, argues that we are cosmically nothing more than a speck of dust. She indeed puts it succinctly by declaring, “Make your own world the best it can be, and stop worrying about things that don't matter.”
Rachel ends her article powerfully, stating, “because really, nothing matters. And because of that, every moment matters.” This new perspective has the potential to change people's view and greatly enhance their lives.
