Feedback on "The Tao of Karios"
“The Tao of Karios” by Tillena Trebon is an extremely interesting piece about how a young horseback rider is ambushed by wasps, whose stings she is allergic to, and she must fight to take the medication she needs before it becomes too late. Throughout the story, the author’s use of language makes it very descriptive and realistic.
This piece to me was different than others I have read. I am terrified of wasps for no reason. I am not allergic to them like the girl in the story is. The story made me realize that my fear is irrational, as I have no reason to fear wasps, while others may have good reasons. Overall, “The Tao of Karios” was an extremely well written piece.
