“Wrestling”

In “Wrestling” by Levi M a wrestler speaks about what it truly takes to be successful not only in the sport, but in life.  He talks about the ups and downs during a match. Being a wrestler myself, I understand his thoughts during, after, and before a match.  The part that got to me the most was the ending.  Levi writes, “Every competitor has morning practices, everyone lifts, everyone does cardio, everyone works on their technique, but the one thing that separates the great wrestlers from the average is their heart.”  I personally like this quote because it can be applied to more than just wrestling it’s true about nearly anything.

Even though not many people can relate to this article, I thought that it was well done.  I liked that he described what it was to be a wrestler. Levi says, “trying to relax and mentally prepare for battle.” This is what wrestling is a battle that’s six minutes, man on man.
