Feedback on Maze Runner: The Scorch Trails
Alexandra Barnett's review on "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trails" depicts my opinion on the movie perfectly. She discusses the raw plot line and character development as well as the lack of developed antagonists in the movie. They were either just evil without a backstory or a Crank.
I walked into the movie theater having high expectations for the movie. I read the books and the previous adaption did justice to it. This one, however, like Alexandra said, was nothing but a zombie movie. The courageousness of the characters and diversity of the plot line was missing from the movie. Alexandra writes, "Sadly, just like the Cranks, this movie was just too dumb and too gross." I agree with her point completely because this movie was supposed to be a dystopian story that revolved around infections and not the "Walking Dead: The Movie."
