I would understand planned marriages back in the old days, but now in the 21st century, it's really rare. Devjani P.'s fiction article, "Unarranged", however, has a main character who 's being forced to be married to a man, Kunal Sharma. I was taken aback by the personality of the Sharma family. They thought that women should care for the house and children, while men support the family and go to work. This is how society worked in the U.S, before the 21st century. That's what makes this peice so unique to me. Now there's one question that needs to be answered. Will the main character be allowed to do as she pleases, or will she be forced to marry Kunal?
