The Power of Words" Review
“The Power of Words” by YuQi Zhang opened my eyes to the corruption happening in the world of news. We know that social media spreads false rumors and statements, but he news too? People every day watch the news to know the FACTS of what’s going on around us. To know even the news, claim false statements was mind boggling.
The story YuQi Zhang shared about the 2 Chinese exchange students made me emotional. But the false statements caused people to think otherwise. I thought “All these people should’ve done more research before making an assumption on these people”. But I realized I do the same thing, comment on things without doing my own research.
Everything we hear on the media, including the news, isn’t 100% true. YuQi Zhang has brought light to the situation about the biased lies on the news.
