Breakthrough by Sydney Traylor
The poem “Breakthrough” by Sydney T. spoke to me for the reason of me being able to relate to her. The part when she says “I believe in broken hearts, hearts that love a little too big” really hit me because despite the fact that someone is broken they can still try and love someone else. I have been in tha situation where after being heart broken for a while I decided to fr and love again. The way Sydney says “a chipped teacup still holds water” left me in wow. She’s actually right because someone that’s been through a lot of pain can still get up and walk on the world and live. Thank you Sydney for writing this poem and making me realize it’s okay to be broken and still want to love someone.
