The writing titled “Boy Scouts is for Boys,” written by Rik Bhattacharyya, talks about how girls are now allowed to join Boy Scouts. His writing left me feeling confused. I completely and totally agree with this article. The article explains, “In addition to being teachers and advisors, leaders will have to become night watchmen over teenagers with raging hormones,” and I believe that that will be a major problem especially since there will be more boys than girls so there will be chances for the girls to be put in inappropriate situations. If something like that happens, then the BSA (Boy Scouts of America) will likely have legal issues and many more expenses. This is why I believe that the BSA needs to correct the so-called mistake that they’ve made by allowing girls into Boy Scouts.
