Trump uses the NFL players taking a knee as a bridge.
He has very important things he needs to be focusing on but he uses this as a way to get the focus off the fact that he doesn’t. President Trump could be helping Puerto Rico after there hurricane that had them lose almost all electricity and lots of food supply but he was worried about people respectfully saying they don't believe in God. “More than two of every three Americans, 68 percent, believe the President was in error when he criticized NFL players”(Yahoo Sports). That’s about 219 million people going against you.
