Looking Back
Looking Back
And one day I’ll look back and say,
I wish I were 17 again,
Waiting for my life to begin.
I wish I were still thin and tall,
Man, back then I sure had it all.
Yet here I am now,
Those times are the past
And I am wondering why I never believed they wouldn’t last.
If only I had lived everyday not waiting for the next
I might have realized how much I was blessed.
