"Messy house messy life"
I can't be sure, but I'm assuming there's a reason I've ever been told that saying. I'm assuming that's the reason every house I've ever been in is a train wreck. Every adult, every last one I know, has a disastrous home. I think they're afraid to go through everything. Underneath the mess, behind the clutter there are wounds, some which have been left to bleed for years. I think they are scared to get rid of distractions, because once those are gone... you have to face the truth. Maybe they're scared to hear it. Why? Well, that's one question I've been too scared to ask, because it's the one I'll never get answered. The truth is inevitable, everyone knows that. It's what's best, everyone swears so. It's what we need. At least, that's what everyone tells me. But these hypocrites are all so afraid! Of what?
Perhaps of what people think.
Probably of what those they love think.
Maybe they don't want to let the people who matter down.
Maybe they don't want to let anyone down.
