When You Loved Me...
Your breath was sweet and tasted like honey. Your hands were gentle and never broke me. You took my heart and held it softly. Protected me, sheltered me from the world inside your arms.
When you loved me, I was whole. The world was peaceful and my spirit flew.
When you loved me I no longer feared myself. It was so easy, so natural... it was as if we were just breathing. You held me and loved me, promised me the world and sang me to sleep. Your lips would find mine in the most silliest ways.
You were tender and soft.
We never feared to be ourselves! But the day you left, the day you pasted... all had seemed lost. My spirit crumbled to dust in an instant, my heart was as black as coal. I wish, I pray that maybe someday you'd come back and hold me.
