79 The Athlete
Fellas, fellas, fellas, the guilty and innocent which will we follow? When feeling as if one is wrong, and did not do wrong the level of understanding tends to go one way or the other. We all have an angel on our right and the devil on our left telling us to do either wrong or good. Even though we have voices telling us to take action, at the end of the day we have to think about the bigger picture and do what is right. It will be multiple times throughout our lives when we will be tested and our actions can haunt us for the rest of our lives. We have to know what is ok and what is not. People may not only test us by causing us to release anger against us but test us through society. The way we act after a situation can lead us to do wrong which may cause us the rest of our lives.
During football games there are times when the other teams will play dirty; however, we have to remember not to act towards their cowardly play. We need to be the bigger person and watch our reactions because the second person always gets caught. In the classroom with our teachers, we will have to watch our reactions when not hearing or getting the grade we believed we earned. Instead, we need to find the time to sit and break down our thought processes with our instructor to see where we went wrong. Relax, let go, and breathe the key to success.
